About Me

| | Comments (0)

I was reading an article in a SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) magazine, and it was covering some pretty old topics - one of which was making sure your About Me page was clear and yadda yadda...

This got me thinking, if you are a blogger, do you really need one?

Surely the majority of blogs are about you; your likes, dislikes, favourite things, showing off your skills, talking about the news and the many other things that make up a blog entry.

As long as your blog is a reflection of you, has been personalised to your tastes (keeping in mind certain accessibility rules) then everything is about you. After all that's what I do here, I've seriously tweaked the templates, added my own content, pulled in interesting things from elsewhere and tried to make the whole shebang interesting for other people as well.

I'd be interested in knowing what other people think about the issue - are About Me pages dead?
